Baby Spitting Up Yellow. Spitting up blood or greenyellow fluid. My bub spits up a lot but its normally just milk or saliva. The spit-up is bright yellow or green. Your baby spits up yellow or green fluid or fluid with blood in it.
In most infants reflux and spit-up occurs several times a day and is considered completely normal. If you havent been experiencing that I dont know that Id be terribly concerned about pyloric stenosis. You should also call the doctor if your baby is. If your baby is spitting up anything green red or yellow or contains huge chunks that gag the baby it is important to notify your doctor. Your baby doesnt allow any feedings and has blood in stool as well. Its usually diagnosed much earlier due to massive spitups basically every single time baby eats.

This is especially true if your infant is older than 12 months and still spitting up forcefully after meals. Your baby isnt gaining weight has frequent unexplained fussiness or is spitting up more and more. All the spit and the milk that a baby feeds on can easily find its way back up to the mouth causing the vomit to be yellow in colour. I should add if it becomes more and more yellowgreen and watery or if you see a decrease in wet diapers call your pediatrician. There is a large amount of spit-up.
